BIG GIRL COSMETICS

In 2005, Founder, Kiley Russell then an Assistant Principal, sat in the audience of the legendary taping in which Oprah gifted the entire audience a Pontiac G6.

Although that was an awesome gift, Russell had a much larger plan.  She decided to sell the car and use the profits to launch the growing beauty brand, Big Girl Cosmetics.

Big Girl Cosmetics, is a cosmetic and skincare company designed for poly-ethnic women.  They provide rich, highly pigmented colors & realistic foundations for most underserved clients.  

Big Girl enhances the products currently offered in the major retail market.  They marry edgy, urban, high pigment with a healthier mineral based product & extended wear performance.  Their baked mineral based products are unlike any others currently on the market.

Big Girl Cosmetics products are designed to help women make more informed decisions about their skincare and makeup.  They create affordable beauty products that empower women to take control and honor their bodies, creating their own definition of beauty.

Staying consistent with the mission of Big Girl Cosmetics, Kiley took another leap of faith and opened Big Girl Makeup Bar & Spa in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago.  Now faithful clients can experience the essence of Big Girl at any time they choose. 

Big Girl Makeup Bar and Spa Hyde Park is not the traditional mom and pop mani pedi stop.  It features the full line of Big Girl Cosmetics complete with makeup services, parties, and lessons.  The boutique spa portion offers relaxing mani pedi combinations, facials, waxing, and lashes, and is the perfect destination for a Big Girl spa party.
